A Little Bit About Me
Bismillah.

I feel Allah ta'ala has blessed me with a lot in life- a loving family, health, safety and security, a fulfilling career- and to show gratitude in turn I try to obey and please Him in the way I choose to live my life. They are humble efforts, but in practice this means salaah, modesty, honesty, integrity- all these things and others are very important to me.

Due to Allah ta'ala's mercy and blessings I find myself a busy doctor currently undertaking my specialist training. It is a job I find immensely rewarding and a privilege to do. Unlike traditional desi thinking though, I don't think the profession I am in gives me a sense of entitlement or superiority. Humility is a trait which is important to my own character and in those I choose to make a part of my life.

Work does take up a lot of my time at the moment, but to relax I do enjoy keeping fit, healthy cooking, visiting new places and relaxing with my loved ones- I make a beeline for my little nieces when I get to go home (during specialist training you are based in a different city each year so I live away from home).

UPDATE- Please read carefully if you are considering getting in touch:

* Due to receiving a lot of messages- many unfortunately unsuitable- I have asked my older, married sister to sound out potentials for me to start with. This means her finding out basics on my behalf via handling my messages in the first instance, after which she will let me know if there is potential to consider the individual further (obviously if that is what they also want). I trust her completely, she knows me inside out and knows what I am looking for iA. If you do not want to involve family members in your search then please do not waste time messaging, only to be turned down.

* For anyone genuinely wanting to get in touch, my sister is willing to find out basics via messaging on here, or to be quicker, a joint phonecall between her and my BIL and any interested potential if they prefer this option. What I Am Looking For
Ideally someone similar- a genuine, caring and happy soul- to share the adventure of this life and the next with iA.

Deen being the basis of lifestyle choices is essential and I do think it helps to be on a similar wavelength in terms of thinking, education etc. But aside from this, someone who is responsible, but at the same time doesn't take themselves too seriously. Kind, protective, fun- and all the other things any good husband would be by default.

In some ways I think a fellow doctor would be more understanding of the pressures and commitments of someone who works in this profession, but I am open to consider anyone who is genuinely compatible.
